One Thing Taken Care Of
April 9, 2008
I went today to reserve the new apartment. I thought I would have to make an appointment to go speak to someone and it would take a couple of days but they said to just come on down. I gave them some information and a check for $530 for the reservation fee/security deposit. I have never had to write a check before in my life. I usually just use my debit card. Anyway, once this was done they gave me an application to take home and fill out. They need information from my current leasing company, three non-relative references, and a guaranteer. I had expected the last one but the others were a bit of a surprise.
Tomorrow I have to drop off one form in the office of my current complex, mail the guaranteer form home to my father, and track down two of my references. Once this has all been done, I’ll have my new apartment. I’m so happy.
